So I’m like OMG cause Mercedes has done it again. They are certainly not “nubies” to the fashion world, holding it down as one of the largest sponsors for NY Bryant Park Fashion Week they’ve teamed up with FAME photographer Nick Knight and HAUTE designer Gareth Pugh. So let me break it down to ya…

– Mercedes we all know is one of the top of the line creme de la creme of luxury cars but Nick Knight is a British fashion photographer working for the likes of Alexander McQueen, Dior, YSL, & Audi just to name a few. Now designer Gareth Pugh…whew talk about someone who merges 3-D, inflated futuristic designs and still manages to keep it structured…Maybe that’s why he draws attention of some of the biggest celebs in the game; such as Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga (of course) & Beyonce. Beyonce had Gareth design her entire “I Am Sasha Fierce” tour collection as well as her Sasha Fierce cd design.

So with that said, it’s no wonder Mercedes jumped on the best to feature the new SLS AMG…I mean I can’t decide if I’d die for the car or the clothes…can I just be greedy and die for both…lol. Take a view of the pics and a behind the scenes video.

Ok, so I know it’s like 20 degrees outside but there are so many cute things awaiting for Spring. I mean come on, it’s never too late to get started. Besides these tips are sure to brighten your day. And one thing is for sure…my Recessionista’s will appreciate these 5 key pieces because they will take you far…

1. THINK PRINT – this Spring choose pops of colors blended together in a form fitting dress. It speaks “Killah Chic” it’s flurty and transforms from Day to Night. Just like this London based designer Mary Katrantzou did with the dress below. It’s inspired by handblown glass & the structure of this dress works great for all shapes. Biggest accessory is the nude pumps…like you can’t go wrong with a Nude pump (I can’t stress that enough). It longates the legs and balances the pattern in the dress, giving you a more polished look. Just FAB!!!

2. GO GU-GU FOR GAGA – Ok so I’m not sure if Lady Gaga set the trend, but she’s definitely an influence behind it. Wearing lingerie as outerwear can be risky but if you keep it classy it will give you a seductive look that’s tasteful. For instance, this beautiful Dior dress below is “sweet & sexy” however, it takes confidence to pull this look off. So be cautious of form fitting satin materials if you are not the model stature, as well as too much color or just color at all. Stick to hues of gray, nuede, soft pink & nothing says classic like black like this D&G dress…I just died 😉

3. BARELY THERE – So back to what I mentioned earlier about Nude accessories; they were all over the runway and I’m having a field day with it because it’s the “little goes a long way” feature that adds glam. As usual without any doubts Chanel always does it best!!!

4. PREPPY DENIM – so I chose this pic because you can use this for inspiration…think of it as your canvas. The key is to buy soft light-weight textured denim in your favorite wash. Louis Vuitton made this look fun by outlining the frame with yellow and pairing it with patterned shorts. You can certainly copy, but the idea is to take to a “not-so-traditional” denim look & make it fun.

5. IT’S A JUNGLE OUT THERE – my last but not least must have piece is anything animal print…in any color. My fav’s are the Cheetah or Leopard print because it’s very modern and pair it with bold Gold accessories and your ready for Spring!!!

Christian Louboutin created a high-end 5.5 inch crystal stiletto accompanied by a bottle of Piper-Heidsieck Brut. If you have a shoe fetish, drop a $1,000 and you can adore this spin-off art piece on the traditional Champagne flute.
